WHY THIS CABLE TV SHOW IS SIGNIFICANT:

·    Expose the family law problems to the masses.

·    Remind viewers there is a large constituency of parents, children, grandparents, and second spouses affected unfairly and negatively by family law.

·    Increase public awareness of CPR and the need for reform.

·    Provide a highly educational presentation to educate the general public.

·    Promote the monthly meeting at William Mitchell College of Law

·    Motivate more people willing to be involved to increase our critical mass by attracting new members willing to be part of the solution, new volunteers willing to contribute their time, and others who can contribute financially to the cause.

YOUR ACTION ITEMS:

·         Watch the Cable TV Show – educate yourself. Tune-in to Channel 6 on Wednesday nights from 8:30 pm – 9:30 pm.

·         Email MCN 6 Operations and Program Director and thank them for airing the show. Let them know that it’s an important issue for a lot of Minnesotans and therefore you are referring a lot of people to their station.

o        E-Mail Gay Jacobson: gjacobson@mcn6.org

·         Email us with feedback on the show – we are open to your ideas for improvements or suggestions for future programming.

·         Help CPR advertise by forwarding emails and telling others (your attorney, friends, family, co-workers, and even your IV-D case worker!) about the show.

·         Help CPR advertise the show to the masses by emailing CPR (info@cpr-mn.org) to request a set of our colorful 8x11 posters which you can use to post on public bulletin boards at coffee shops, grocery stores, laundry mats, music equipment stores, baseball fields, music equipment stores, men’s rooms at bars, etc (instructions provided with the posters).

·         Help CPR distribute tapes of the show statewide – email us (info@cpr-mn.org) if you are out-state and can deliver a copy of the show to your local Cable TV station.

·         Help CPR with the administrative support

o        Needed once a month to mail out all the new tapes to the stations

o        Needed to return calls to those wanting posters, then mail out posters

·         Receive a free copy of the show if you DONATE your financial support of $75 or more, or help us find individuals or organizations who can donate the financial contributions needed to continue the show. We have received a donation for the first four months of programming. Your donations can be designated specifically for this effort. Checks can be sent to: CPR P.O. Box 130776 Roseville, MN 55113. Put your designation in the memo portion of your check. What is needed:

o        $400/month to provide all 201 state legislators with their own personal copy

o        $400/month (or more) for color posters to advertise the show

o        $300/month to mail tapes to 100 Cable TV stations statewide

o        $204/week to secure and play the show on regularly scheduled time on Metro Channel 6

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT

Thank you for your support to this ministry. This major Cable TV project has been completed only with the help of committed volunteers. None of this can continue without the help of people willing to volunteer. If you have experienced family law problems, you know the need to expose the problems. We hope you will be impressed with what you see and do what you can to support CPR with your time, talents, or financial resources. Some have more time than money; some have more money than time. We appreciate whatever you can offer. We trust God will lead you. The more others share with CPR, the more we can grow to help more people. We are limited right now with what we can do, but our vision is large and we trust you will support the cause, to help children for generations to come.

Respectfully appreciating the opportunity to make a difference with you!
